Kuta, Legian and Seminyak are the biggest, brashest, least traditional beach resort in Bali, located on the southern part of the island. The resorts continue to expand its epicenter on the coast of 10 kilometers southwest of Denpasar, the provincial capital of Bali. Features with hundreds of homestays, losmens, hotels, restaurants, night clubs, bars, souvenir shops, fashion store, and travel agents along the eight kilometers. The strip hosts several hundred thousand visitors per year. Many of travelers to Bali are regular tourists and surfers.
The hustle and bustle with its exotic day as well as night entertainment can be found from Kuta on the south to Seminyak on the north of Legian. A great place to enjoy the colorful life mixture with the traditional Balinese culture. Most of travelers found it easy to walk around these areas for shopping and dining out. The beach is just within a few minutes walk from the hotels and homestay.
Kuta, Legian and Seminyak have been started out as a separate resort but is still difficult to determine the lines between them. Kuta stretches from Jalan Bakungsari bordering Tuban on the south to Jalan Melasti and other parts of Jalan Raya Legian on the south end. While Legian area starts from Jalan Melasti to as far as Jalan Arjuna including north end of Jalan Raya Legian. Seminyak goes from Jalan Arjuna to Pura Petitenget in Kerobokan Village.
